Job summary

Amazon in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Sr. Station Leader to oversee all delivery station operations, safety, quality and performance metrics. You will lead a cross-functional team including Operations, Area and Shift Managers, driving lean initiatives and a strong leadership bench.

Responsibilities include managing DSP relationships, staffing plans, and presenting metrics to executives. This role requires 7+ years of management in logistics and a proven results-driven leader with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years’ direct management experience in logistics, fulfillment, last-mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial results under high pressure.
• Experience with performance metrics and process improvement and lean techniques.
• Experience with full lifecycle staffing: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations.
• Strong analytical capability; data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations.
• Drives station vision and initiates quality and lean improvements to meet business plan.
• Set expectations for Ops Managers; measure performance and hold teams accountable.
• Manage 24/7 delivery station operations and relationships with DSPs.
• Present operational metrics to senior leadership.
• Hire and develop talent; plan for site talent acquisition and career development.
• Collaborate with partners (Transport, DSP, Finance, IT, HR, Engineering) to secure resources for initiatives.
