Job summary

National Life Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to orchestrate large, interdependent initiatives across technology, business, suppliers, and delivery partners. You will own the integrated plan and align objectives, technical work, and change management to deliver measurable value.

The role partners with Portfolio, Technology Delivery, B.A., Solution Architecture, QA, and stakeholders to translate priorities into executable plans, manage dependencies, and sustain momentum in dynamic

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years leading complex cross-functional technology and business initiatives.
8+ years Life & Annuity industry experience.
Experience with Agile, hybrid and predictive delivery models.
Advanced project management, governance and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own integrated project plans across complex initiatives and stakeholders.
Establish and maintain schedules, milestones, risks, and delivery commitments.
Coordinate delivery across business, technology, suppliers, and operations.
Lead project planning, governance, and post-implementation stabilization.
Ensure coordinated execution with Portfolio, Technology Delivery and QA teams.
Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across functions.
Facilitate tradeoff discussions and executive decision-making on scope and resources.
Provide governance reporting and executive communications to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory requirements, and financial controls.
