Job summary

National Life Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to orchestrate large, complex initiatives across technology, business, and suppliers. You will own the integrated plan, manage dependencies, and ensure objectives align for measurable business value.

The role requires deep Life & Annuity expertise and strong stakeholder management. The position currently offers onsite work with four core days per week, Monday through Thursday, subject to change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years leading complex cross-functional technology and business initiatives.
• Minimum of 8 years of Life & Annuity industry experience.
• Demonstrated success leading highly interdependent initiatives across business, technology, operations, and suppliers.
• Experience managing Agile, hybrid, and predictive delivery models.
• Advanced project management, governance, risk management, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own integrated project plans across complex initiatives, aligning objectives and delivery commitments.
• Establish and maintain integrated schedules, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate delivery across business, technology, suppliers, and operations.
• Lead project planning, governance, implementation, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Partner with Portfolio, Technology Delivery, Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, and Quality Engineering for coordinated execution.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and cross-functional impacts.
• Facilitate tradeoff discussions and executive decisions on scope and timeline.
• Provide governance reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory requirements, and delivery standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and AI-enabled delivery practices.
• All other duties as assigned.
