Job summary
New Balance is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives, driving planning, execution, and delivery using Agile, hybrid, or traditional approaches. You will partner with business, product, engineering, and IT teams to translate objectives into actionable plans and deliver tangible business outcomes.
As a senior PMO member, you will mentor other project managers, establishing governance, metrics, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- BS with 5+ years of project management in a technical field.
- Hands-on experience with software development life cycle.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
- Proficient in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management.
- Experience with PM tools such as Smartsheets, ADO or JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple cross-functional projects or workstreams.
- Apply and tailor delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, or traditional).
- Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and metrics.
- Proactively manage RAID and escalate when required.
- Facilitate governance through status reporting and leadership updates.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate objectives into actionable plans.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes across the PMO.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings and monitor progress.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and internal teams for governance.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to other project managers.
