Job summary

EXPANSIA, part of the Aether Aerospace Defense Technology platform, seeks a Senior Sales Engineer in Huntsville, AL. This role combines avionics and mission-systems knowledge with customer engagement to qualify opportunities, demonstrate capabilities, and craft technically credible solutions for prioritized product opportunities.

You will work across Product Sales, Commercialization, and Engineering to move opportunities from discovery to funded outcomes, traveling regularly for customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of defense systems engineering/avionics experience preferred.
• Experience in technical sales, demonstrations, and customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-facing technical discovery with government and OEMs to assess platform architecture and integration constraints.
• Demonstrate product capabilities and develop technically credible solution approaches.
• Translate customer requirements into configurations and technical recommendations for funded opportunities.
• Support proposals, ROMs, and technical content for bids and captures.
