Leidos' Defense Systems seeks a Portfolio Manager to guide the Indirect Fire Protection Capability/Force Protection portfolio in Huntsville, AL. Lead cross-functional teams, drive customer relationships, and shape proposals to meet mission goals while maintaining security standards.

The role requires extensive leadership experience in hardware/software development, DoD program exposure, and an active DoD security clearance. Relocation to North Alabama area is preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree and extensive leadership experience with government or defense programs.

• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct meetings with program teams to monitor status, guide actions, and resolve issues.
• Interface with customers to foster relationships and identify future opportunities.
• Contribute business expertise to proposals aligning with mission and finances.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, contracts, growth, and supply chain for timely goals.
• Provide solutions to deficiencies in portfolio planning and execution.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, quality, and delivery.
