Leidos' Defense Systems seeks a talented Portfolio Manager to join the Indirect Fire Protection Capability/Force Protection business area in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on leading program teams, driving execution, and shaping proposals to meet mission goals.

The position requires a 12+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s with 10+), strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. North Alabama residency or relocation is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years.
• Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct one-on-one and group meetings with program teams to check status, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
• Interface with customers to develop relationships, ensure high quality service, and drive future opportunities.
• Provide business expertise to proposals, ensuring alignment with mission, financial, and Division objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (engineering, finance, contracts, growth, supply chain) to ensure alignment and timely execution of program goals.
• Provide solutions to identified deficiencies within planning and execution of the portfolio.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, quality, and program execution.
