Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design and development.
• Experience with NX/SolidWorks for complex models and assemblies.
• Strong mechanical analysis skills: structural, thermal, vibration, tolerances.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware development across product lifecycle from concept to lab integration.
• Apply advanced technical expertise to solve complex mechanical engineering challenges.
• Perform detailed design and analysis, including stress, thermal, and tolerance assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide team members to high-quality outputs.
• Prepare and maintain engineering docs like specs, drawings, and test instructions.
