Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in the United States is seeking a senior GIS architect who will work with clients to design, certify, and implement ArcGIS workflows across enterprise environments, helping clients realize value from Esri technology.

The role requires 8+ years in GIS, TS clearance, and experience with ArcGIS desktop/server/online, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, and cloud architectures. You will collaborate with customer IT teams and partners to deliver impactful GIS solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities.
• Experience designing, implementing, and administering enterprise GIS solutions using ArcGIS (desktop, server, and online).
• Proven ability to leverage Esri software for mapping, field operations, spatial analysis, data science, 3D visualization and analytics, and data management.
• Domain experience in Defense and Intelligence content workflows.
• Experience with service-oriented and cloud computing architectures.
• System administration on Windows and Linux, with Kubernetes experience.
• Active TS Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Strong proposal skills to demonstrate GIS value to customers in defense contexts.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platform.
• Provide configuration guidance and best practices to help customers make better decisions using Esri technology.
• Identify the value of location within customer workflows and drive ROI in Esri's platform.
• Develop and present complex GIS demonstrations to staff at various levels in diverse organizations.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams to align objectives with Esri's enterprise solutions.
• Work independently and in teams to deliver services and implement solutions.
• Grow expertise across ArcGIS components and business contexts.
