Job summary

Esri is seeking a Solution Architect to lead ArcGIS platform design for Defense and Intelligence missions. You will architect, integrate, and deploy enterprise ArcGIS solutions across secure environments, translating requirements into scalable architectures and guiding staff through implementation.

Role emphasizes high-impact workflows, cross-domain security, and mentorship, with relocation support to the St. Louis area. Candidates need TS clearance eligibility and a CS/GIS/STEM background.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of GIS platform architecture and solution design.
• Experience designing high-performance computing, cloud, and edge-native architectures.
• Knowledge implementing zero trust, cross domain services, and securing classified networks.
• Architecting, implementing, and administering ArcGIS Enterprise platforms (desktop, server, online).
• Experience with Oracle; Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS; Windows/Linux servers.
• Programming with Python, JavaScript, and/or HTML5.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas to customers and executives.
• US Citizenship with Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Mathematics, GIS or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ArcGIS platform-based strategies to meet complex customer requirements.
• Define security and governance for on-premise and cloud deployments.
• Define best practices for ArcGIS deployment and integration with non-Esri platforms.
• Translate customer requirements into software architecture and design specifications.
• Lead and mentor team members through implementation and budget alignment.
