Job summary

OBXtek is seeking a Management Analyst to support the MELA office, working on export policies and reviews for the Air Force. The role involves analyzing export controls, policy research, and maintaining regulatory information to ensure compliant reviews under ITAR/EAR.

Onsite at the Pentagon five days a week. Requirements include a Master's degree in a technical field, 10 years in defense acquisitions or export regulation, and strong writing/public speaking skills.

Qualifications

• ITAR knowledge required.
• 10 years of defense acquisitions planning, or interpreting & implementing federal export regulations (ITAR, EAR).
• Master's degree in science, engineering, or relevant technical discipline.
• Strong writing and analysis capabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), SharePoint, TEAMS; Adobe Reader/Pro.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and assessing export agreements to prevent inappropriate transfer of U.S. military tech.
• Maintain current information on U.S. and international policies, treaties, laws on missile tech control.
• Develop and maintain a database of Air Force export applications and regulatory info.
• Research and draft recommendations on MELA cases and export-related issues.
