Job summary

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) seeks a Senior Management Analyst (MELA) to support the MELA team evaluating export license applications and related regulatory issues for Air Force programs. The role requires ITAR expertise, security clearance, and a strong background in policy analysis and international technology transfer.

You will develop recommendations, maintain regulatory databases, and coordinate with the COR on complex export controls and compliance matters, ensuring alignment with DoD

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Master’s degree in any discipline.
• 10 years of relevant experience in a System Program Office and/or Air Force Headquarters or equivalent.
• ITAR and MELA experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, TEAMS) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong public speaking and briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and assessing potential export agreements to prevent international transfer of U.S. military technology.
• Maintaining current information on U.S. and international policies, treaties, laws, etc., on missile technology and related weapon delivery systems.
• Developing and maintaining a database of Air Force export applications and applicable regulatory information.
• Researching, analyzing, and providing draft recommendations on each MELA case and policy studies.
• Recommending export policies and actions that enhance the security of Air Force systems.
• Reviewing international technology transfer issues including manufacturing technology, espionage, and national security.
