Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Platform Organization. The role focuses on full-cycle PCB design for propulsion, fuzing, interconnects, and power electronics within defense programs. You will drive design rigor, enable high reliability, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a strong background in analog/digital/power electronics, Altium LTSpice proficiency, and eligibility for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex PCB designs in defense/aerospace contexts.
• Deep expertise in analog, digital, and power electronics with a proven hardware track record.
• Proficiency with electronic CAD tools (Altium Designer strongly preferred).
• Experience with circuit simulation tools (LTSpice or equivalent) to validate designs before build.
• Strong lab test equipment skills and experience leading DVT/qualification campaigns.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, PCIe and MCU/CPU/FPGA architectures.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle PCB design for high-reliability defense hardware from requirements to bring-up and integration.
• Architect and optimize circuit solutions for safety-critical aerospace and defense applications.
• Drive design analysis such as WCA, thermal, DFMEA, and SI/PI.
• Define test strategies and lead DVT, qualification, and functional testing.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions for vehicle integration.
• Serve as technical authority across mechanical, thermal, software, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical feedback to shape decisions.
• Lead root-cause analysis for ground tests and field operations and drive corrective actions.
• Define vendor criteria and drive sourcing for critical electrical components.
• Mentor junior engineers on design methodology and test approaches.
