Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineered-to-order, deepwater oil and gas projects from tender through commissioning. You will oversee cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end execution, and champion best practices in program management within a PMO structure.

The role requires 15+ years in deepwater project management, PMO experience, and strong cost controls. You will mentor PMO staff, manage risk, and ensure QMS/API alignment while collaborating with clients,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
15+ years of Project Management experience in engineered-to-order projects in the deepwater oil and gas industry.
15+ years of experience working in PMOs and project staff.
Project management experience in the manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office products.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and ERP systems.
Extensive knowledge of subsea equipment engineering, installation, and operating procedures.
Familiarity with API, ABS, DNV, ISO, and NORSOK standards.
Strong cost controls and financial oversight for projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
PMP certification or AACE certification.

Responsibilities

Lead complete project lifecycle from Tender to Commissioning for large-scale deepwater projects.
Monitor portfolio delivery to ensure on-time, on-budget results while maintaining scope.
Serve as primary client representative with contractors and vendors; report to senior leadership.
Track financial performance and support cost optimization decisions.
Identify and mitigate project risks to maximize productivity.
Ensure QMS compliance per API and third-party witness protocols.
Mentor PMO team on project management knowledge areas.
Collaborate to drive continual delivery improvements.
