Job summary

CVS Health, within the Signify Health Strategy & Innovation team, seeks a Principal Decision Scientist to design and execute causal inference studies and sizing analyses that underpin strategic recommendations. You will lead member-outcome research, translate business questions into rigorous analytical plans, and collaborate with data professionals to improve standards and reuse across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Decision Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Expert SQL and Python with large datasets.
• Strong statistics and experimental design experience.
• Experience with causal inference and impact measurement.
• Healthcare/payer data expertise.
• Executive communication and stakeholder influence.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Developing reusable analytics assets and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep statistical studies to prove member outcomes and guide growth.
• Design, build, and maintain causal inference studies for in-home health evaluation outcomes.
• Collaborate across Signify's functions to standardize data models, pipelines, and quality controls.
• Present analyses to Signify's ELT and executive leadership; mentor analytics talent across the organization.
