Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Decision Scientist to lead end-to-end analytics within the Analytics & Behavior Change Data Science team. You will deliver high-visibility projects for CVS Retail priorities, drive profitability, and build predictive models with cloud-enabled data solutions.

You will partner with stakeholders, turn complex data into actionable insights, and present recommendations to guide strategic decisions across the business. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• 3+ years programming in SQL and Python.
• 3+ years in data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau) with end-to-end product implementations.
• 1+ years implementing AI-based analytics solutions.
• Expertise in strategy through problem statement identification and analytical approaches.
• Proficiency with semantic/data models and large datasets in cloud platforms.
• Strong mathematical and statistical foundations for data science.
• Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills; proficient in PowerPoint.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure, and GCP in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present insights-driven materials with recommendations for diverse audiences including senior leadership.
• Act as the main contact for stakeholders across multiple projects; document and communicate status.
• Leverage AI tools to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and data engineers to define solution approaches and recommendations.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems.
• Use data visualization to clearly communicate results and influence business decisions.
