Job summary

CVS/Oak Street Health is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Decision Sciences team. You will work with other data scientists to design prospective studies, ROI assessments, and clinical program evaluations.

You will help expand data science capabilities across the care model and present results to diverse audiences. Responsibilities include executing statistical analyses, building insights, and communicating findings with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 years of statistical analysis and machine learning to answer research or business questions
• 3 years of SQL and Python programming
• Ability to decompose multi-tier problems into actionable steps
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with large datasets, analyzing data, and extracting insights
• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced mathematical and statistical methods to solve business problems
• Execute exploratory data analysis to validate and quantify trends
• Develop insights, visualizations, and data artifacts to support data science initiatives
• Wrangle and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude
• Other duties as assigned
