Travelers is seeking a Senior Manager, Decision Science in Hartford to advance analytic maturity across the enterprise. You will blend data expertise with business understanding to surface actionable insights that influence strategy and actions beyond pricing and reserving.

You will lead diagnostics, visualization, and collaboration with product, marketing, and operations, while mentoring junior talent and shaping analytics capabilities across teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in a STEM field or business with technical focus.
• At least five years of data and analytics experience.
• Experience with explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques.

Responsibilities

• Procure data for current and future analysis and prototypes.
• Improve data quality and recommend process enhancements.
• Apply complex analytics and experimental design to business questions.
• Explore new data assets and analytics tools for problems.
• Create visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior analysts and support recruitment efforts.
