Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build, deploy, and operate ML and decisioning pipelines for the NBA Decision Intelligence Platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in computer science or relevant field.
• 5+ years (post undergraduate) building and operating large-scale production systems.
• 2+ years (post graduate) building and operating large-scale production systems.
• 2+ years hands-on experience implementing reinforcement learning or simulation-driven decision systems.
• Deep familiarity with MDPs, Bellman equations, and constraint formulation in real-world decision systems.
• Proficiency in Python 3.x; experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow in production.
• Experience with Ray RLlib for distributed training.
• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Delta Lake for large-scale ML pipelines.
• Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry.
• Experience shipping production systems.

Responsibilities
