Job summary

Arm in Chandler seeks a Staff DDR Analog Characterization Engineer to validate and characterize next‑gen DDR memory interfaces, including DDR5/LPDDR6, across voltage, frequency and temperature corners.

You will perform electrical margining, signal integrity measurements, timing characterization, develop test plans, automate testing, analyze data, and document results while collaborating with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on DDR/LPDDR memory interface validation experience.
• Experience with margining, eye diagrams, timing, voltage margins, DQ/DQS.
• Lab equipment experience: scopes, probes, analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
• Strong understanding of DDR protocols and JEDEC specs.
• Passion for silicon validation and high-speed memory interfaces.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Validate and characterize DDR memory (DDR5/LPDDR6) with margining and SI.
• Conduct timing analysis under various operating conditions.
• Collaborate across Arm to develop best validation practices.
• Develop and implement test plans and methodologies.
• Analyze test data to resolve issues and ensure performance.
• Implement automation to improve testing efficiency.
• Provide documentation and reports on characterization results.
