Job summary

Ameresco, Inc. is seeking a Level 3 DDC Controls Technician to lead and execute complex commercial building automation projects from installation through commissioning and closeout.

The role involves mentoring junior technicians, coordinating with trades, and working directly with clients and project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with DDC systems, HVAC equipment, and building automation protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and IP-based networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience with DDC controls and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead DDC control system installation, programming, startup, commissioning, and closeout for complex commercial projects.
• Interpret drawings, specs, sequences of operation, and submittals to implement functional control solutions.
• Program and configure DDC controllers and graphics using Reliable, Niagara, Tridium, or equivalent.
