Job summary

LONG Building Technologies in Casper, WY seeks an Automation Controls Technician III to support commercial HVAC controls service, fault detection, and diagnostics within our FDD platform ecosystem.

You will program, tune, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate with project teams to optimize sequences of operations and energy performance while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or service experience equivalence.
• 5+ years of DDC/BAS control system construction or service experience.
• 2+ years of DDC/BAS programming and integration experience.
• Experience with commercial HVAC controls installation and construction procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilize FDD platform to evaluate faults and improve energy performance.
• Program, tune, and adjust setpoints per design recommendations.
• Diagnose complex issues and provide solutions to client stakeholders.
• Instruct client personnel on operation and energy optimization.
• Create pricing and quotes for small projects or upgrades.
