Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer/SME for Generating Station Distributed Control Systems (DCS). You will support operations, maintenance, and projects across multiple generation technologies and regions, guiding others and owning fleet standards.

The role involves coordinating with OEMs, mentoring staff, and ensuring robust DCS practices. Hybrid onsite/remote work with regional travel within the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Engineering and PE.
• Minimum 8 years engineering experience.
• Master's degree may substitute for the B.S. degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for DCS across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate with external DCS OEM support groups.
• Own fleet-level standards, practices, and procedures.
• Lead engineering teams with minimal supervision.
