Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Lead Engineer/Subject Matter Expert for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) across coal, natural gas, solar and storage facilities. You will guide operations, maintenance and projects, shaping fleet level standards and best practices.

The role requires an ABET-accredited BS in Engineering and PE, with at least eight years of engineering experience. A Master’s degree may substitute for the BS.

Qualifications

• Must have BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited program and PE.
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
• A Master’s degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for control systems at multiple generation facilities across regions.
• Serve as SME and lead guidance to operations, maintenance and projects.
• Coordinate communication with OEM support groups and fleet level standards.
