Zusammenfassung

Imperial Brady seeks an Operations Manager to lead warehouse, transportation, and facility activities in a distribution network. You will drive operational excellence with strong leadership, process optimization, and a focus on a top-tier customer experience.

You will oversee staffing, budgeting, fleet management, and route logistics while ensuring OSHA/DOT compliance and safe, efficient deliveries. The role requires 5+ years in operations with at least 2 years in management, plus familiarity

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5+ years in warehouse or distribution operations, with 2+ years in a management role
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Strong leadership to build and retain a high-performing team
• Solid knowledge of ERP and WMS systems; ability to train others on new systems
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT safety standards; fleet management experience preferred
• Lean Six Sigma or distribution certifications are highly preferred
• Clear understanding of Profit & Loss principles and budgeting
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools
• Flexible to extended hours to support all shifts and urgent needs
• Experience operating Material Handling Equipment and delivery vehicles

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse and transportation operations and associates
• Provide strategic leadership and mid-term planning support for distribution center operations
• Lead and motivate distribution center staff to maintain morale and culture
• Ensure operations comply with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Inventory Control to meet inventory and loss-control standards
• Establish staffing plans; manage headcount to meet budget and objectives
• Train, develop and evaluate staff; reduce turnover and improve performance
• Manage routing for efficient deliveries and excellent customer service
• Maintain a safe working environment and minimize risk
• Monitor expenses to stay within budget and optimize profitability
• Provide logistics input to streamline operations and efficiency
• Coordinate with Sales and Procurement to enhance customer experience
• Oversee facility, equipment, and vehicle safety standards; enforce compliance
• Approve credits for returns or pricing changes
• Ensure OSHA and DOT compliance for employees and assets
• Handle additional duties or special projects as assigned
