Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Product Definition Engineer to translate next-generation processor and datacenter requirements into differentiated voltage-regulation solutions. You will partner with design, systems, firmware and marketing to define power architecture and product definitions for high-performance platforms.

The role emphasizes strong communication, experience in power-management semiconductors, and a BS in Electrical Engineering, with MS as a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in power electronics, power-management semiconductors, applications engineering, or systems engineering.
Ability to translate system or customer requirements into actionable technical requirements or specifications.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

Understand system-level power challenges and customer requirements with cross-functional teams.
Translate requirements into product specifications, engineering requirements and system use cases.
Contribute to voltage-regulator architecture and product definition for high-performance computing platforms.
Collaborate with IC design, systems, firmware, validation and marketing to evaluate trade-offs and schedules.
Develop and maintain product requirements, system specifications, use cases and interface/API documentation.
Support system analysis, modeling and evaluation of new product concepts.
