Job summary

Regional Finance (Regional Management Corp.) is seeking a Senior Database Administrator in Plano, TX to ensure stability, security, and performance of SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments. You will own HA/DR, performance tuning, and on‑call incident response while mentoring teammates and shaping database standards.

You will design and optimize database code, support ETL/Reporting with SSIS and SSRS, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of database administration and development in SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Strong performance tuning, execution plans, and wait analysis.
• Experience with HA/DR solutions for SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on SSIS development, SSRS reporting, and scripting expertise.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and the full SDLC; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage backup, recovery, and HA/DR strategies including Always On and log shipping.
• Handle database security, access control, and auditing.
• Plan patches, upgrades, and capacity planning; respond to outages during on‑call rotations.
• Design, write, and optimize code across SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Develop, deploy, and monitor SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
