Job summary

Regional Management Corp. is seeking a Sr. Database Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.

You will own database administration, high availability and disaster recovery, and performance tuning for systems powering core business applications. You will also support ETL and reporting via SSIS and SSRS, partnering with stakeholders and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of database administration and development in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments.
• Deep expertise in performance tuning and wait analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting production database issues and implementing HA/DR.
• Hands-on with SSIS package development, deployment, and SSRS reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage backup, recovery, and high availability/DR strategies (Always On, log shipping, PostgreSQL streaming replication).
• Lead performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and query analysis.
• Design, write, and optimize database code across SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Design, develop, deploy, and monitor SSIS packages and SQL Agent jobs for ETL and automation.
