CoStar Realty Information Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Manager of Database Administration to lead MS SQL Server operations, including replication, backups, and performance tuning across production, development, and QA environments.

You will manage a team of 6, collaborate with development, QA, and other teams, support cloud platforms (AWS Aurora RDS, DynamoDB), and participate in an on-call rotation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer & Information Technology or closely related field.
• 8 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, replication, and backups.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Aurora RDS, DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with SQL Server performance tuning and monitoring.
• Ability to manage a team of DBAs and Data Engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Administer MS SQL Server including replication, backups, and related services.
• Support and administer cloud-based data platforms (AWS Aurora RDS, DynamoDB).
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain databases across environments.
• Process change requests per change control policies.
• Lead performance tuning and optimization initiatives.
• Manage 6 direct reports (4 Senior DBAs, 2 Senior Data Engineers).
• Participate in on-call rotation ~1 week every 3 months.
