CoStar Group’s Apartments.com team seeks a Senior Software Engineer (C#/Databases) to support Irvine, CA applications. You will influence multiple web products used by millions, applying emerging technologies to improve software.

The role emphasizes database work, C# development, and collaboration across teams. Located in Irvine with a four-on-site day cadence and one day remote, this position offers growth, strong compensation, and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• 6+ years of production development experience with C#/.NET.
• Relational database design (MS SQL/MySQL) with performance tuning.
• Proven track record delivering products and platforms.
• Experience in unit, performance, and automation testing.
• Mentoring developers and building consensus across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop using OO design principles and patterns for high reusability.
• Write unit-testable software with C#; ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Understand product architecture; contribute to the platform.
• Develop SQL scripts/ETL jobs per database standards.
• Participate in and drive Agile/Scrum processes.
• Facilitate discussions among .NET and database developers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen the platform.
