Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead architecture, migration, and operations for the CMS CCCS modernization in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on migrating from Oracle Siebel to AWS PostgreSQL and ensuring high availability.

Responsibilities include data profiling, ETL with AWS Glue and DMS, and collaboration with Data Modelers. Requires 8–10 years of DB experience and ability to obtain Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of relevant database administration experience.
• Experience administering Oracle and PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora) in AWS production environments.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations, profiling, mapping, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of AWS data services and data pipelines for migration.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Lead database architecture and administration supporting CCCS modernization.
• Migrate from Oracle Siebel to AWS PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora).
• Profile legacy Siebel data model for migration.
• Develop ETL processes using AWS Glue, PySpark, and AWS DMS.
• Ensure 99.9% data migration accuracy and validate reconciliations.
• Design backup, recovery, and multi-AZ/region resilience.
• Support integration with Pega CRM, NDW, and CMS systems.
• Mentor Data Modelers and ETL Developers on best practices.
• Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to CMS leadership.
