Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to lead the migration of a legacy Siebel Oracle database to AWS PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora). You will partner with data stakeholders to profile data models, design ETL pipelines with AWS Glue, DMS, and PySpark, and ensure high accuracy and availability across migration stages.

The role requires 8–10 years of DBA experience, plus strong Oracle/PostgreSQL skills in AWS, data profiling, and security controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8–10 years of DB administration experience.
• Experience administering Oracle and PostgreSQL in AWS production environments.
• Experience with large-scale data migrations and CDC concepts.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust eligibility.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP security controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead database architecture and administration for migration to AWS PostgreSQL.
• Profile, analyze, and document legacy Siebel data model for migration planning.
• Design ETL processes using AWS Glue, PySpark, and AWS DMS for data movement.
