Job summary

Leidos seeks a Senior Database Administrator in Baltimore, MD to help migrate and modernize the CMS CCCS database platform. You will lead architecture and migration activities, working with data teams to ensure quality and availability.

You will oversee migration from Oracle Siebel to AWS PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora), design ETL pipelines, implement security controls, and drive performance tuning for 99.9% uptime in a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8–10 years of database administration experience.
• Experience administering Oracle and PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora) in AWS production environments.
• Proven large-scale data migration, profiling, mapping, transformation, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead database architecture and administration for CCCS modernization.
• Migrate from Oracle Siebel to AWS PostgreSQL (RDS/Aurora).
• Develop ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, PySpark, and AWS DMS.
• Document data models, mapping rules, and CDC transformation logic.
• Ensure 99.9% data migration accuracy and high availability.
• Implement multi-region backup, recovery, and resilience strategies.
• Collaborate with CMS and Leidos stakeholders on integration points.
