Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator in the National Security Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area to support mission‑critical systems, including Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE databases. You will drive migration to AWS RDS, optimize performance, enforce security policies, and ensure data integrity and high availability across multiple environments.

This role requires Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph and offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 12+ years of DBA experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Four additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Build a new Oracle environment using Oracle OEM Cloud control and DataGuard.
• Maintain database integrity, security, and availability across Oracle, SQL Server and SYBASE.
• Support Oracle to AWS RDS migration efforts.
• Perform performance tuning, disaster recovery, and index maintenance.
• Implement database security policies and procedures.
• Optimize database structure, storage, and query performance.
