Job summary

Epsilon in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to maintain and secure our enterprise PostgreSQL and Oracle environments. You will support on‑premises and cloud deployments, manage replication, RAC, Data Guard, and disaster recovery, and help drive modernization and automation across the data stack.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in DB administration, strong SQL skills, Linux/Unix, and scripting, plus experience with AWS/Azure/GCP services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
8+ years of database administration experience.
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability architectures.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in production and non‑production environments.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations including replication and RAC.
Perform patching, upgrades, and lifecycle maintenance with minimal downtime.
Automate recurring DBA tasks using scripting and tooling.
Collaborate with DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams.
