Job summary

Epsilon, a Publicis Groupe unit, is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to safeguard and optimize our enterprise PostgreSQL and Oracle environments across on‑prem and cloud platforms. You will drive replication, RAC, Data Guard, and migrations while enabling automation to boost reliability and performance.

Join a 24x7 operation, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help modernize our data landscape. A strong background in Linux, SQL tuning, and scripting is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 8+ years of database administration experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle technologies (RAC, Data Guard, RMAN).
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and high-availability architectures.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle databases across production and non-production environments.
• Manage high-availability and disaster recovery configurations (replication, standby, Oracle RAC).
• Support cloud-hosted environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-prem databases.
• Automate recurring DBA tasks with scripting and tooling.
• Collaborate with apps, DevOps, and infra teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support as needed.
