Job summary

Sandisk, based in California, seeks a Senior Technologist for datapath and circuit design in its Memory Technology Group. You will design high-speed datapath circuits for 3D NAND and lead RTL verification, while collaborating to debug silicon and optimize performance.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience and have strong background in NAND memory design, data-path concepts, and high-speed I/O technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge/experience in data path design (Nand, DRAM, LPDDR or HBM).
• Knowledge of decoding concepts and redundancy concepts.
• Knowledge/experience in NAND page buffer design.
• Knowledge/experience in RTL design.
• Knowledge/experience in non-volatile memory design (NAND flash memory cell operation) is a big advantage.
• Knowledge/experience in high-speed I/O circuit is a big plus.
• Strong device background and evaluating new process technologies for design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design circuits at transistor level and gate level for leading-edge 3D NAND flash memory focusing on high-speed datapath circuit design and page buffers design.
• Perform block level and full chip circuit simulations to meet all performancespecifications.
• RTL design, synthesis, static timing analysis andverification in verilog for page buffer and data path control logics.
• Conduct silicon debugging and evaluation with micro-probing.
• Collaborate with characterization engineers to fully characterize silicon, and partner with other designers to develop solutions for silicon issues.
• Generate detailed technical reports and presentations.
