Job summary

RevStar is seeking a Senior Databricks Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) for a remote contract engagement based in LATAM. You will design scalable data foundations, implement cutting-edge GenAI solutions, and migrate workloads onto the Databricks Lakehouse platform while driving adoption with executive clients.

You will lead technical delivery for Fortune 500-like accounts, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or Solutions Architecture.
• 3+ years deep technical experience within the Databricks Ecosystem (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Spark/PySpark).

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Solution Architecture & Engineering: Design, build, and deploy production-grade data pipelines, analytics engines, and Generative AI/LLM applications using Databricks platform, Spark, Python/PySpark, and cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Enterprise Customer Delivery: Lead technical engagements with enterprise clients; translate business challenges into high-performing technical solutions.
• Databricks Migration & Estate Modernization: Migrate legacy platforms onto the Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• GenAI & Advanced Analytics Implementation: Guide enterprise customers in adopting GenAI solutions and MLflow integrations.
• Drive Platform Adoption & Growth: Identify new high-value use cases across client units to expand Databricks usage.
• Technical Mentorship & Practice Building: Mentor juniors and contribute to internal RevStar libraries and delivery best practices.
