Job summary

MAS Global Consulting in Delaware seeks a Database Developer to design, build, and optimize database solutions on AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle. You’ll implement secure, scalable data architectures in a cloud-first environment and collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams.

The role requires hands-on SQL (PostgreSQL and Oracle), PL/SQL, and Terraform for infrastructure as code, plus experience with AWS services, backups, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of database development experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL (Aurora PostgreSQL) and Oracle Database expertise.
• Advanced SQL skills and PL/SQL development.
• Hands-on AWS fundamentals and Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions on AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Write and optimize SQL/PL/pgSQL and SQL/PL/SQL for performance.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Schema design, data modeling, indexing, and query tuning.
• Backup/restore, patching, upgrades, capacity planning, incident troubleshooting.
• CI/CD for database changes and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Work with AWS services and security best practices; documentation and collaboration.
