Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking an Oracle PL/SQL Developer in Charlotte, NC for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle database applications, PL/SQL programs, and reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience and database object design.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Experience with performance tuning and production issue resolution.
• Collaborates with QA, PMs, architects and business users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes and materialized views.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
• Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
• Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
• Act as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and design reviews.
• Collaborate with QA, developers, business analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Document solutions and maintain technical documentation.
