Job summary

Morgan Business Consulting, LLC seeks a Senior Database Management Analyst to support a U.S. Navy program office in the Washington, D.C. area. The role focuses on data analytics, database administration, security, and stakeholder coordination for a full-time Arlington position.

Requirements include 10+ years of Navy analytics experience, MS Office proficiency, and eligibility for a DOD SECRET clearance. Travel domestically and internationally is expected as part of client support.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to databases with DBMS knowledge.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures for databases.
  • Maintain databases within an application area, solo or with a team.
  • Schedule internal/external engagements, meetings, conferences, events.
  • Assist in drafting briefing materials and Navy-Correspondence compliant documents.
  • Coordinate data calls and summarize info for government leadership.
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies and coordinate improvements.
  • Transcribe and summarize meeting notes and assist item closure.
  • Assist in scheduling for government customers and travel arrangements.
  • Attend meetings/program reviews and help prepare presentations and communications.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support MBC and clients.

Senior Database Management Analyst

Full Time Arlington, VA, US

Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

We are currently seeking a Senior Database Management Analyst located in the Washington, D.C. area.

What you’ll do:

The Senior Database Management Analyst will provide data analytics support to a U.S. Navy program office.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
  • Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
  • Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents in accordance with Navy Correspondence Manual guidelines.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls to gather inputs from both internal and external stakeholders. Consolidate and communicate information from data calls to government leadership for further action.
  • Evaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementation.
  • Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and notes and assist in the preparation and closure of action items.
  • Assist in the scheduling of appointments in support of Government customer, the coordination of arrangements for meetings and conferences, and the arrangement of travel reservations and accommodations.
  • Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience providing data analytics support to U.S. Navy program offices.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Eligibility to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field from an accredited institution in the United States.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients.
