Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

What you’ll do:

The Junior Financial Analyst will provide budget and financial management support to the Submarine Combat and Weapon Control Systems (PMS 425) Joint Program Office.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain files for ACP case program documentation and a log of all bank transactions, invoices, and obligations for the full duration of the MOU
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze project spend plans and forecast monthly
• Assist in the research, preparation and modification of project documents to include: the Financial Management Procedures Document (FMPD) and Joint Program Office (JPO) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Prepare project financial execution documentation such as bank deposit request spreadsheets, bank reconciliation reports, and financial accounting documents
• Participate in program reviews, technical discussions, and provide coordination and expert recommendations for resolution of joint development issues
• Support meetings by preparing and reviewing presentations, recording meeting minutes, noting action items, and participating in discussions
• Conduct research and analysis of PMS 425 records and databases to reconcile program requirements, prepare status reports, and initiate corrective actions to resolve discrepancies
• Representational responsibilities include key meetings with various international stakeholders
• Provide timely support so that the JPO achieves successful planning and execution of general and specific program responsibilities
• Provide timely, accurate, complete, and properly formatted deliverables to be delivered within deadlines
• Assist the JPO Finance and Procurement Manger and Lead International Programs Analyst in financial management
• Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
• Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC’s clients

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience providing budget and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices
• Active DOD SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
