Junior Financial Analyst

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually
We are currently seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C. This position requires 3 days in office (Tuesday‑Thursday) in Crystal City, VA.
What you’ll do:
The Junior Financial Analyst will provide program and financial management support to the FMS group at IWS 4.
Responsibilities:
- Lead program support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases on behalf of government lead and relayed requests to PAE Munitions PMX-303L subject matter experts
- Utilize Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP) to extract case‐pertinent information, reformatted and distributed report to VLS correspondents
- Draft Memorandums (Memos) on behalf of government lead and distributed to PMX-303L case managers
- Update expenditure reports from field activities, e.g. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWC DD) to maintain Requisition Serial Number (RSN) expiry dates
- Utilize NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) to extract consolidation report
- Draft, clone, and edit Tasking Planning Sheets (TPSs) in NEPS to capture statements of work for field activity on behalf of funding activity
- Attend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as required
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in‑person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients. Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience providing program and financial management support to U.S. Navy program offices
- Active DOD SECRET security clearance
- Prior experience with NEPS is preferred, but not required
- Experience using the Security Information Portal is desired
- Bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited in the United States
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
