Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a seasoned Database Engineer equivalent to a DBE who can design, implement, and optimize complex database systems for federal contracts. You will translate requirements into scalable schemas, develop database parsing and loading software, and ensure security controls meet DoD IA standards.

The role emphasizes front-end lifecycle work from requirements through IOC and system acceptance testing, with cloud-based storage, data flow, and performance trades as core activities.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in Information Assurance: DoD 8570.01-M compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities.
• Develops relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software.
• Lead development of database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development.
• Direct fulfillment of requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion.
