Job summary

Wyetech, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Database Administrator to safeguard and optimize federal contracts acrossOracle, SQL Server and SYBASE environments. You will lead disaster recovery, performance tuning, and security initiatives while coordinating with the Database Engineer to implement scalable DB architectures.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, a strong technical foundation, and extensive DBA experience.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency polygraph is required.
• Ten (10) years' experience as a DBA in similar programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may substitute for a bachelor's.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity, security and availability of databases.
• Establish and maintain database user accounts.
• Administer policies for security and integrity of databases.
• Organize and format data for efficient queries and storage.
• Coordinate architecture changes with the Database Engineer.
• Direct installation and administration of DBMS including Oracle, SQL Server, SYBASE.
• Provide server administration across multiple database products.
• Perform disaster recovery, performance tuning and monitoring.
• Support data modeling through prototype implementations.
• Oversee performance optimization and indexing strategies.
