Job summary

Wyetech, LLC seeks a Database Engineer to design, develop, and implement robust database architectures for federal government projects. You will work on relational and object‑oriented data systems, craft schemas, write queries, and ensure security and performance across OC and cloud environments.

Required: TS/SCI with polygraph, 10 years DBE experience, a technical Bachelor’s, and DoD 8570.01‑M IAT II familiarity. Strong Oracle stack and Linux scripting are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with agency appropriate polygraph is required
• Ten (10) years experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• Experience in Information Assurance: DoD 8570.01-M compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II is required

Responsibilities

• Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities
• Lead development of database structures that fit into the overall architecture of the system under development
• Direct organization of requirements and data into a usable database schema by directing development of ad hoc queries, scripts, macros, updates to existing queries
• Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable database schema by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts and macros
