Job summary

Dover Networks LLC in Maryland is seeking a Database Engineer with Top Secret/SCI clearance to design, implement, and optimize large-scale databases and data flows for complex systems.

You will ensure security, performance and reliability while translating requirements into database structures, queries, and tooling across the system lifecycle from design to IOC.

Strong Oracle proficiency, Linux scripting, and DoD 8570‑M IAT II compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with installation and patching Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, and Oracle Data Guard.
• Ten (10) years experience as a DBE in programs of similar scope and complexity; Bachelor's degree acceptable or five (5) years substitution.
• Experience in Information Assurance: DoD 8570.01‑M compliance with IAT II level is required.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead database design, development, deployment, information storage and retrieval.
• Lead the development of database structures and software in alignment with system architecture.
• Translate requirements into usable database schemas and ad-hoc queries for data manipulation.
• Direct the overall database structure and trade-offs among data volumes, users, and security controls.
• Develop cataloged requirements and data models from inception to IOC and beyond.
