Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a Senior Lead Database Administrator to provide strategic leadership, architecture, and operational management of enterprise databases across on‑premises and cloud environments. This role ensures the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of mission-critical data systems while aligning database services with enterprise technology strategy.

This position oversees complex multi‑platform ecosystems including relational, cloud-native, and analytical databases,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on‑prem deployments across enterprise environments.
• Proven leadership of distributed technical teams including offshore resources.
• Strong incident leadership and crisis management experience.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise security practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive database architecture standards, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
• Lead deployments across cloud platforms (AWS RDS, OCI) and hybrid architectures.
• Develop governance for cloud provisioning, cost optimization, and controls.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering/DevOps to implement automation and IaC.
• Mentor on‑shore and off‑shore database administration teams and manage vendor relationships.
