Job summary

Leidos seeks a Sr. Database Administrator to support a large, complex program in the Intel sector. You will assess, audit, and report SRG/STIG vulnerabilities while ensuring security controls per DoD and DISA policies. Platforms include Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.

The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, deep database security expertise, RMF/ATO experience, and strong SQL scripting. The team offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities in national security.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security controls.
• Experience applying Oracle CPU patches, IAVA patches, and other database products.
• Experience with Linux security as it relates to Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Experience with PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for platforms Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra and/or MongoDB.
• Perform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses.
• Support RMF processes and contribute to ATO packages.
• Conduct routine security readiness reviews and POA&M items.
• Collaborate with ISSOs to validate and report compliance.
• Review database SRG/STIG updates and report changes with potential impact.
• Determine impact and risk of change requests and provide cyber oversight for web changes.
• Perform system updates and IAVA patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.
• Perform database recovery actions.
• Modify existing database scripts and create new ones.
• Develop and execute SQL queries.
