Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator to support a large, fast-paced national security program. You will assess SRG/STIG vulnerabilities, ensure security controls, and document changes. The role covers Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB with RMF/ATO involvement.

Requirements include a technical bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in the field, and TS/SCI with Polygraph. The position offers robust benefits and a clear path for professional growth within Leidos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted by experience.
• At least 5 years of demonstrated Database Administrator experience.
• 5+ years Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security controls.
• Experience applying Oracle CPU patches and IAVA patches.
• Linux security experience related to Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS.
• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra and/or MongoDB.
• Perform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses.
• Support RMF processes and contribute to ATO packages.
• Conduct routine security readiness reviews and document POA&M items.
• Collaborate with ISSOs to validate and report compliance.
• Review database SRG/STIG updates and report impactful changes.
• Assess impact and risk of change requests before implementation.
• Perform system updates and IAVA patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database problems.
• Perform database recovery actions.
• Modify and create database scripts for recurring issues.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
